Have you ever taken some of the off road side trips we have in our Great State of Arizona?
My husband and I went out to Black Canyon Lake (off the 260 at the top of the rim between Forest Lake and Heber) and came across the Old Wagon Trail. There were markers along the side of the road and at each stop something to learn about the area. We learned about the Baca family and how they survived in the early 1800’s. We even saw their gravesites. It’s official name is the Black Canyon Journey Thru Time. You can read more about it on the Historical Marker Database website https://www.hmdb.org/
What other trails have you discovered in Arizona? Not just on the rim - like the Hashknife Pony Express, but perhaps elsewhere.
